Next weekend is July 12-15 |

The next Youth weekend is scheduled for July 12-15. This will be a concurrent event for girls and boys (in separate cocoons and living quarters, of course). Though we're calling it a Journey (18-21 year olds) -- we will also include Flight-aged youth (16-19). Now is the time to become a sponsor and send in your cat's application. Remember, you are the representative of Our mighty Lord, who empowers you to spread His word and share His love. |

Steve Huskey, our 2012 president, gave a good answer on Facebook: "It's up to the maturity of the applicant. A 22-year-old coming off a tour in Afghanistan, or looking at getting married, will be in a different place than a 24-year-old who just graduated. "I believe the 'limit' is 24, but this is where the sponsor has to decide if Walk To Emmaus or Chrysalis is a better fit. Both programs are a lot a like and will depend on the maturity of the candidate. "Oh ya... one more thing... Pray about it.. :)"

March 2012 flight postponed to October |

At the recent board meeting it was decided to push back the current Flights to the October time frame. We are praying that you, the community, will take this opportunity to start praying for the caterpillar God wants you to sponsor. |
